Byeoluigogae - 별의고개

This is a multipurpose five-story building in South Korea.

'Bueoluigogae' means 'Star Pass', which follows the meaning of its town. The design includes desire of bringing the building into the society and provide a space where people come by anytime in their daily life. 

The facade of 'Bueoluigogae' shows the space zoning by layers of two different materials. Therefore, it gives a stress to each zone for day and night.

The ground floor and the first floor are conversion of commercial use. The other floors above are residential occupancies.
