Ummaga (Mother's Home) - 엄마家

This is a cottage house for a married couple who are preparing their retirement.

The house is built on a site where the client's mum lived over 60 years. The clients were grateful to be back to the town where they have all the memories, but they also wanted to start a new track of their life. It was one of the request by the clients to create a new home for them and their children to visit their mother.

The site is surrounded by small mountain which provides beautiful nature. The facade has very minimal selection for colour and materials with clear lines, therefore the design melts within nature.
